Dale & Josephine Starks labored as a missionary in Stuttgart, Germany from August, 1976, until March, 1981. During that time, ten Malaysians were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost. Dale Starks started a Bible School in Stuttgart, where most of these Malaysians were trained in the word of God. In December 1978, Leow Aik returned from German to his home country, where he assisted another Malaysian until he felt to start his own church in Kuala Lumpur. The Gospel Lighthouse Church was born in February, 1982. Pastor Leow also serves as the Superintendent of the Malaysia District of the United Pentecostal Church.
