A Friend above all other friends is He,
He gave His life for us on Calvary,
Greater love has no man than that which He has shown,
Yes, Jesus is the Friend above all friends.

Once my life was dark and lonely,
I had no peace within,
The life that I was living made no sense,
But the blessed Savior found me,
Now I belong to Him,
And Jesus, is the Friend above all friends.
