Prayer Revivals

We are very excited about our new ministry that God has called us into. We have not quit the Foreign Missions fields because we want to do easier work. We have a call from God to help stir the American church to pray as never before!

The Church of Jesus Christ has no greater need than to seek the face of the Lord abundantly. We don't need more beautiful buildings--the apostles did not have them! We don't need more well-trained choirs--the apostles got along nicely without them. We do need to be filled to the utmost with the power of the Holy Ghost.

We need the anointing that "binds up the brokenhearted, proclaims liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound." We need an anointing "to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God, and comfort all that mourn." We need the anointing so that Zion, the Church of Jesus Christ, will receive "beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." (Isaiah 61:1-3)

We are excited about the doors that are swinging open for us, as we minister the burden of our heart.

LATEST REPORT:

During the first week of August, I had the privilege of being a part of the "Summons to Sacrifice," held in St. Louis, MO. This was a time of instruction, fasting -- but mostly intercessory prayer.

Former missionary Mervyn Miller approached the Hotel where the meeting was held during the time of intercession, and saw huge, folded hands above the hotel. He thought at first there was something wrong with his eyes, and tried to clean them and focus more clearly --but he saw the same thing.

I have never been in a more powerful meeting in my life.

Nobody was coming to be entertained. We all came to pray, and to receive everything that we could from God to become more effective in our ministry of prayer!

During the second week of August we held a Prayer Revival for Bro. Owens, in Ringgold, Louisiana. We had two days rest before traveling to Bastrop, Texas, and then on to Humble Texas for two more great Prayer Revivals.

Things really do happen when God's people get stirred up and start praying. We held a "Prayer Revival" in one church who had averaged about fifty in attendance for ten years. During the "Prayer Revival," a few people committed themselves to be intercessors--and that was enough! During the next eight months, the pastor baptized more than eighty in the name of Jesus Christ! then on If you are a pastor interested in a Prayer Revival, do not hesitate to contact us.
